LAND SIZE UNIT
It is common in Bali Island (and also Lombok Island) to use older metric system for area / size unit called ARE, where 1 ARE is equal to 100 square meters. In %webttls%, we try our best to simplify it to square meters (m2) both for land/building size and the price per square meter (m2).

Others commonly used unit is:
Hectares (HA), where 1 HA = 100 ARE = 10,000 m2

Native Taiwanese may also find a bit difficult to understand / compare ARE and they native area / size unit, where they used to use pheng. Following is the conversion to square meters of native Taiwanese area / size unit:
1 pheng = 3.31 m2
1 bo = 30 pheng = 99.3 m2
1 kah = 2394 pheng = 7924.14 m2
